Greetings, Music Enthusiast, Record Collector and fellow independent musicians. http://www.dynamitevision.com/ is an internet based eclectic music catalogue packed with new music and re-issues from almost three decades of underground music. We are also a treasure trove of resources and facilities to help the diy musician of today.
Falling A records (Founded 1977)
First and foremost we are music lovers ourselves. We were initially inspired by the great Record label brands of the early 70's such as Vertigo, Charisma and Harvest as well as the multitude of private pressings from that time. Our earliest releases were realised by the diy ethics of Punk / New Wave in the late 1970's and we thrived in the early independent record label market. Primarily we were part of a wave of bedroom musicians that spawned cassette culture and ventured into the world of private pressings on vinyl. Falling A records was responsible for being a pioneering force championing the cause of the diy musician. In the late 70's and early 80's we were part of a developing international music community corresponding and trading fanzines & cassette releases through the post. This was a rugged but dynamic and energised forefather to all of the indie / diy music you will find online today. We are proud of our diy roots and heritage. The music in our archives may lack the polish and production that is so readily available today but it was delivered with a conviction and passion that is not that easy to find in this modern era of midi & pro tools. The reconstructed Falling A label is brought to you in the same spirit.
We have always desired to deliver great music that stands above and beyond the mainstream and treasured the concept of visually stimulating packaging. In this world of downloads and digital we still cherish hard product and especially desire to elevate the status of sleeve artwork back to it's rightful place. We have fond memories of returning home from the record store with a brand new LP tucked under our arm and the feeling of anticipation whilst placing it carefully on the turntable and scanning the sleeve artwork, which served to enhance the whole experience.
Our release programme encompasses many styles. The Falling A record label was originally born out of avant-garde experimental music and Punk / New Wave. Over the years our appreciation for progressive rock has grown and Falling A has taken a more progressive stance with the odd surprise here and there. The experimental banner has been handed to our newer Six Armed Man label, which in turn has been inspired by the work of the BBC radiophonic workshop and all of the risk takers across many musical genres. We hope that our diy music ethics and sense of musical adventure will lead you on a journey of discovery that will expand your horizons and stretch your listening pleasure. This project is in it's infancy but will be updated as we trawl through the many crates of diy cassettes, records and fanzines. We hope to provide a comprehensive tribute to a period of independent music often overlooked in the annals of music history.

Dynamite Vision (Founded 2000)
Dynamite Vision is a truly independent music licensing company, digital distribution network and general resource centre for the diy musician. We have a passion to champion the cause of the "diy" musician and songwriter and believe that the real heart of this business can be found in the most obscure places. Our goal is to unearth some of these aural delights and bring them to your ears. If we can be of any help to the development of your music then feel free to contact us.
Six Armed Man (Founded 2004)
Six Armed Man is our experimental music label. This is a label that will challenge your listening experience. New cutting edge sounds feature alongside some old archive music revisited and taken to places we could only imagine at the time. It also serves as a musical sketchpad that may be developed in different ways in the future. Its entire philosophy and spirit energises & stimulates the Falling A brand as a whole.
