This is the definitive Krom Lek collection.  31 tracks spanning their entire career , remastered and resequenced. The highly acclaimed space rockers from the North East of England have won fans all over the world with their eclectic mix of ambient, experimental, psych & world music. Frequently compared to Ozric Tentacles occasionally referenced with Hawkwind ...Krom Lek are broader than that.

Falling A reissue of this much sought after live jam session featuring the members of Census of Hallucinations and Krom Lek. Recorded live in the studio Autumn 2003. Originally released under the title "Essential Stone Premonitions volume 1". This is two of the finest spacerock / progressive bands from the modern era bouncing off each other's energy and vision in a very unrestrained manner. The performance has edge and flashes of genius. This album is well worth having if you are fan of progressive music. Believe me, Census of Hallucinations and Krom Lek will both make their mark in the annals of progressive music.

This is the fourth release I've heard from the band and I just can't rave enough about these guys. In a nutshell, Krom Lek is absolutely guaranteed to appeal to Ozric Tentacles and Gong fans, and I even hear shades of Hawkwind creeping through on Collective Conscious. Tracks like "Krom Lek", "Picking Rooms", "Earth Of Illusion", and "Earth Jam" are among the band's heaviest Ozrics styled rocking tunes. Ripping guitars, flutes, rushing synths, and speedway rhythms keep the rocketship breaking the sound barrier. And "Earth Jam" is my hands down favorite track of the set. Killer jamming space rock that piles it on thick and heavy and trips wildly. Gorgeous!!

Krom Lek return with their third collection of Ozrics/Gong/festie psychedelic songs and instrumentals. The songs are all very much in the style of their last release (Psychedelic Dot Krom), though the Ozrics influences are more overt than before and the band make cautious but effective use of dancey rave beats.

This release from Krom Lek provides us with a huge array of neo-psychedelic festival style tracks. They play the old-school style of psychedelic space rock jamming in the vein of the eighties/nineties free festival bands. I have never seen this band live and really wish I could (presuming they are still playing the summer festival circuit). Out of most of the bands that are left in this genre, these still seem to be going strong. This music is top-notch and I am really surprised that I had not come across this band before

Krom Lek are a band from Consett in County Durham and are new to the Stone Premonitions label. The tracks on this CD are of a constantly high quality as the band flirt around space rock territory but not too close to Hawkwind or Mr. Quimby's Beard. They occasionally venture in The Rabbit's Hat direction but I guess this is not too surprising as Tim Jones and Terri~B appear as guests on this recording. There is a lot happening here and extensive use of the flute makes for a rich and attractive sound that promises much for their future work. A lot of the material here is worthy of developing further and it will be interesting to monitor their next step.
