SELLING MUSIC AT DYNAMITE VISION
We are always interested to hear your music but we can only work with a select few artists as much as we would love to work with many more. Please check our demo policy before sending anything to us. Apart from a distribution network that has access to a number of retail stores in the UK and overseas including online retailers such as amazon and all the major download stores (i tunes, napster etc.,). We also work with various placement projects for films, media and advertising who are looking for music to use.
If we think your music is a good fit for us there are a number of options available to you.
HARD PRODUCT
Three options
(1) If you have the CD already pressed and available we can take some on consignment and sell on your behalf. For this option we agree a price with you and sell for approx £3 - £4 more than the price we purchase at (This includes worldwide shipping). We take initial batch on consigment (5 copies) and pay as they sell.
(2) Alternately we can ship directly to the customer and do not need to supply us with stock. As soon as we receive an order we will send you a Paypal payment for the agreed amount with shipping details and you can then send the CD. If you choose this option you will need to consider shipping costs in the price that you sell to us as you will bear that cost. All our selling prices include shipping.
(3) We could press some high quality CD-R. They really are superb quality and manufactured and packaged to the same spec as a normal CD but just enables us to make a few at a time and sell and distribute. We pay the artist £1 per unit sold or £2 per unit for double CD's. We usually pay twice a year in January and July. We are flexible on this, so you can request an alternative arrangement if you so wish.
DOWNLOAD
Three options
We pay 75% of all download sales to the artist. We will place in our own download store and can also place in the major download stores if you so wish. We do not charge anything for this service unlike other companies out there but we do pay 75% of whatever we receive in relation to your music. Again, we pay twice each year in January and July.

LICENSING
Three options
We also make our catalogue available for placement in films, advertsing, television and various multi media use. We charge users a fixed rate for this which ranges from £75 to £10,000 plus depending on the size of the project, territory and conditions of the licence. We pay 80% of any money received from licensing deals.We also pay this twice each year in January and July.
(1) Unlimited permission - Give us permission to submit to all potential users
(2) Limited permission - Submit only to potential users after consultation with you
(3) No licensing submissions
PROFIT SHARE
In addition to all this as we are a partnership organization we pay an annual profit share in January of each year. We set a target at the outset of each year for our reserve funds to be approximately two years running costs and everything else we give back to the artists in proportion to their contribution to overall sales. None of the Dynamite Vision staff receive any salary. They are all artists in their own right so our aims are purely to ensure that the Dynamite Vision network is healthy and able to function well as an organisation and also to ensure that the artists are the key people that benefit.
